Our First Months

How time flies! We’ve been having group sessions at Shire Oak Elfins since January, and what a success it’s been! Here’s a little trip down memory lane showing some of the kids different crafts, activities and games. We tend to have one fire per half term. The kids enjoy bringing sticks for the fire and marshmallows, popcorn and singing! The group banner was a great way for the kids to start learning each others names and to see how they’re all part of the group. Tracking In Meanwood

In February Shire Oak Elfins & Friends from Gledhow got together and met at the Meanwood playground. The group split in two. Group A walked through the woods leaving a trail of clues for the other group to follow. A dog stole our stick! 🙁 The second group played games until it was time to follow the clues and see if they can catch up with and find group A. Then we all stopped for a snack and some games, until the groups swapped over and the roles were reversed with group B leaving a trail. Following the trail… Found them!
